Heretic Audiobooks are Coming

I hope everybody is having a Merry Christmas.

I’m still finalizing Heretic Spellblade 2. I haven’t yet found the line between speed and quality for my books and I’m a tinkerer, so I keep refining things that feel off or that I have feedback relating to. People that followed me for the past year probably know I’m a bit shit with release dates. The book will be out soon. I’ll send out a mailing list update once it’s live.

But now for actual news: I’ve signed with Podium Audio to produce audiobooks for the Heretic Spellblade series. This means fans of audio can expect to listen to some high quality audiobooks, starting from a few months from now. I’ll post more details as they become available, but I figured this may make for some nice Christmas news given the next book still isn’t out.

This is a fairly huge step for me. There’s a lot of people who prefer or only listen to audiobooks, but the Emperor series never did well enough to justify the expense or receive any offers. Being able to release audiobooks for one of my series not only means I get to produce more content for readers and fans, but also it’s a sign of how well things have gone with the release of Heretic Spellblade.

Heretic Spellblade has been a huge shift for me as an author, and I’m glad that so many people have read it and enjoyed it. Thank you to everybody who has read it, and especially to those who left a review. I hope that the imminent sequel will meet expectations and I’m editing it to ensure that, even if it’s a bit delayed.
