2023 Schedule

Time for a hopefully accurate publishing schedule for the year. After last year, I’m going with a more relaxed approach to my books. There may be extras in between, but this is just what I’m committing to in the hopes of finally getting on top of things. In practice, this doesn’t change my publishing pace (it’s still 4 book a year) but I’ll stop trying to compete with the book a month or faster folks, as it’s just not worth the hassle.

Before I jump into things, know that the Emperor Awakened audio is up for pre-order and will be out on the 21st. Demon’s Throne 3 audio will be out on the 31st. Links below.

Anyway, the schedule, which is also in the attached image (which I’ll update whenever anything important changes):

Heretic Spellblade 6 - March, likely the first week

Demon’s Throne 3 - June, probably late in the month

Emperor Defiant - September

Neural Wraith 3 - December or first week of January (as ten billion books come out in December)

I don’t expect to release any new series this year. I might still work on some on Patreon as I always have ideas, but until I’ve wrapped up Emperor and probably also Heretic Spellblade, I’m not sure I’ll start anything new, particularly with my release pace.

Neural Wraith 3 might sneak earlier in the year, as I really enjoy writing the series. But I also need to wrap up Emperor and get back into Demon’s Throne. I’m hoping that committing to a 3-month release plan will mean I’ll actually get ahead on my writing for once and find time to work on books earlier (instead of rushing to get books done for deadlines that I keep pushing back), but we’ll see.

A lot of people have asked me about the Neural Wraith 2 and Spellblade 5 audio. Spellblade 5 won’t be until April or later, but Neural Wraith 2 might be before or after - I’ll update once I know more.

Spellblade 6 chapters will likely start to appear on Patreon close to the end of the month. You’ll hear from me when the above-mentioned audiobooks come out as well.
