Demon’s Throne Audio Update

Big, and probably unexpected update on the audio front. This has been an unexpectedly busy week for me, and not in the writing sense.

In short, I've made the decision to part ways with Audiobook Guild. I won’t go into detail about the reasons why, but I'll say that they've done right by me. I still stand by my previous comments about Audible, but things are what they are. I won't make any detailed comments about how things went down beyond this.

The Demon's Throne audiobooks will leave the ABG store immediately (if they haven’t already). If you already bought them, they should still be available through Bookfunnel.

I don't know exactly what I'll do with the audio next, but I can guarantee the new release will be on Audible. I will be rerecording them with a new narrator (or narrators). Although some people enjoyed the existing audiobooks, I got a lot of complaints about them as well, so I think a fresh start is best.

I will look into how I can provide free copies of the new version to at least some people who bought the old one. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any great solution here, as has happened when authors change narrators and rerecord in the past. I won't blame people if they feel burned by this situation.
