Heretic Spellblade 4 is Live

Heretic Spellblade 4 appears to have gone live now and kicks off 2022 with a bang. The civil war rages, twists and turns take place, answers are given, and Nathan is tested. As you might expect, a few new fun characters appear.

As I teased in the release date post, this book is a big one and a bit of a doozy. This book marks the midpoint of the series. I wrap up a bunch of plot points and resolve mysteries, but start a bunch of new ones to be ridden to the end.

Amazon clocks the book in at over 600 pages, and I still cut scenes that weren’t good enough for publication. I’ll talk more about those on Patreon in the detailed commentary I post after every book, but for those not interested, know that there’s still plenty to chew on in the book. Because of this, I’ve already made the decision to cut the next book in two, because I know it can’t all be handled in one book.

The audiobook will go off to Podium now, and I’ll update you once I have a firm release date.

My next book will be Demon’s Throne 3, although I’m puttering away at two others in the background (Empire 3 and a new series). I might make a 2022 schedule post later in January.
