2022 Schedule

It’s a new year, a new book is already out, and I have plans for many more. This post will summarize my plans for 2022. I have a bad history with schedules for my writing. As such, I won’t be putting hard dates to anything and this will be a fairly conservative schedule overall.

Also, if you somehow haven't read Heretic Spellblade 4, go read it now. I'm humbled by the huge response to it, and a big thanks to everyone who has reviewed it or commented about it.

I plan to release roughly 6 more books this year. My “mainline” books will be released in roughly this order:

• Demon’s Throne 3

• Heretic Spellblade 5

• Demon’s Throne 4

• Heretic Spellblade 6

I’ll also release Empire Reforged 3 in the first half of the year. More details on that once it’s ready, as I won’t jump the gun this time.

Finally, I’m working on other series behind-the-scenes. Some of this will be posted on Patreon, but I’ll keep some of them to myself until it’s done. I want to use some of these new series ideas as a chance to “get ahead” of my writing backlog. My primary focus will remain on my current series regardless.

However, I expect to release at least one new series this year once Empire is out of the way and I’m on top of my other series, almost certainly one I’ll be posting chapters of on Patreon.

Like I said above, this is a fairly conservative schedule. It lets me release a new heavyweight book every 2-3 months plus a couple of extras. If I manage to release more books, it’ll be a nice surprise. It’s theoretically possible I’ll even finish Spellblade this year (Book 7 is the last planned book for now), but I’m certainly not betting on it.
